A man has been charged following a spate of charity shop burglaries in Stone.
John Robert Clive from Stafford – but currently of no fixed abode – was arrested in February following the offences.
On Tuesday 14th May he was charged with burglaries at the British Heart Foundation shop, the Cancer Research shop, the Age Concern UK shop and Crick and Mardling solicitors – all in Stone High Street – on 20th February.
The 28-year-old was also charged with burglaries at the Mitchell Memorial Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent on 1st February and the Douglas McMillan Hospice Shop in Biddulph on 3rd February.
He will appear before magistrates in Cannock on Tuesday 28th May.
