Following the publication of the statutory notice to expand the school, Headteacher Jessica Roden said; “We are delighted that our school will be expanded, it is wonderful that our town is growing and attracting new families to the area. The demand for places here at Manor Hill has increased due to our inspiring curriculum and excellent results. Pupils thrive here and having additional teaching spaces will mean that more pupils will benefit from what we offer and that our school community will continue to go from strength to strength.

We anticipate that the works will make our school more accessible to all and that from September 2019 we will be able to offer wrap around care for our families, our existing excellent nursery provision will continue to offer care from age 2. We are incredibly proud of our school and welcome the proposed investment enabling us to offer the best to our existing and future pupils.”

Hi as a resident of Manor rise I and many of the residents are very concerned about the increase in traffic going to and from the school. Can I propose a 20 miles an hour speed limit is put in place local to the school and also if it’s possible to make whitemill Lane and Manor rise one way meaning the access onto the estate would be via the A34 and exit the estate onto Eccleshall Road which would also alleviate the estate being used as a rat run in rush hour. Would it be possible to have a reply to this
    Regards Rick

We certainly don’t want all that traffic emptying onto the Eccleshall Road. With all the houses they’re building just up from Manor Rise, I estimate there’ll be around an extra 1,000 cars on that road during the rush hour. It’s already a nightmare in the mornings.

      Hi Richard
You will need to forward your proposal either to the school itself or Stafford Borough Council.
