ManTime receives boost from Stone Round Table

ManTime HandoverThe Stone Round Table, a respected local community organisation, has generously awarded £200 to ManTime, a local group dedicated to creating a safe space for men grappling with a variety of challenges – such as depression, anxiety, and substance dependency.

The Birth of ManTime

ManTime was born out of personal experience. Its founder, Mike Rawlinson, observed that many of his male friends were contending with mental health issues and struggling to seek help. Rawlinson, having grappled with similar challenges himself, was inspired to offer a lifeline to others.

The Connection

The relationship between ManTime and the Stone Round Table evolved organically when a member of ManTime introduced a friend from the Stone Round Table to the group. Impressed by the positive impact ManTime was making in the community, the Stone Round Table felt compelled to support its mission.

Fund Utilisation

The funds received will be used to raise awareness about ManTime within the wider community. The money has been primarily earmarked for promotional materials, including posters and flyers, with any leftover funds being kept aside for future projects.

While it’s difficult to quantify exactly how this funding will improve the services ManTime provides, the hope is that by spreading the word about their mission, they’ll be able to reach more men in need.

Community’s Role

The local community can lend its support by allowing ManTime to display its promotional materials in local shops and information boards. Rawlinson has ambitions for ManTime to evolve into a community charity in the future, opening up opportunities to accept donations from local businesses and community projects.

The Local Response

Feedback from the community towards ManTime has been overwhelmingly positive. Many locals recognise the importance of its mission and have expressed a willingness to support it in any way possible.

Looking Ahead

Though currently a relatively small group, Rawlinson harbours high hopes for ManTime. Their ultimate goal is to assist as many people as possible across the UK. In the meantime, Rawlinson invites anyone interested in supporting their cause to reach out via Facebook.

Rawlinson extends a special thanks to Grant of Granville’s for providing a space for their meetings and the Stone Round Table for their kind donation, which will significantly aid in achieving the group’s next phase.

In a society where men often find it hard to express their emotions due to traditional values and societal pressures, ManTime provides a much-needed outlet. Rawlinson believes that with the support of the community and organisations like the Stone Round Table, ManTime can bring about substantial positive change.
