Over 200 runners took part in the Westbridge 5 race on the opening day of this year’s Stone Festival.
The five-mile race around Westbridge Park and down the canal to Aston and back attracted 217 runners, with Stone’s Ben Gamble (below) – a member of Tipton Harriers – winning the Stone Master Marathoners-organised race. Full results will be on the Master Marathoners’ website later.

But there were runners of all abilities all taking on the course in lovely summer sunshine, cheered on by lots of people around the route.
