DJ Pete Tong is bringing his Ibiza Classics show to Cannock Chase Forest next summer, with a concert confirmed for Thursday 24 June 2027 as part of Forestry England’s Forest Live series.
The show combines well-known dance anthems with live orchestral arrangements, featuring Tong alongside The Essential Orchestra. DJs Sam Divine and Gina Breeze have also been confirmed as support acts for the Staffordshire concert.
Ibiza Classics began in 2015 with a BBC Radio 1 Ibiza Prom at London’s Royal Albert Hall and has since developed into an international touring show, featuring orchestral versions of club tracks including Lola’s Theme.
Speaking about the forthcoming Forest Live performances, Pete Tong said
“Taking the Ibiza classics from the clubs to the forests will be surreal and magical.”
The concert will take place at Cannock Chase Forest’s Birches Valley site, near Rugeley. The arena is expected to open at around 5pm, with individual performance times announced closer to the event.
Pete Tong joins a Forest Live 2027 programme at Cannock Chase that also includes Ronan Keating with Blue, Madness with Scouting For Girls, and Rudimental.
Forest Live is organised by Forestry England, with money raised through the concerts helping to support the management and conservation of England’s forests.
