Rooftop Studios launches new musical theatre packages for young performers in Stone

Stone performing arts school Rooftop Studios has launched two new musical theatre packages, offering young people the chance to take part in four different classes each week at a reduced monthly price.

The packages have been introduced after the school’s Junior and Senior Stage Academy classes became fully booked, providing another option for youngsters interested in singing, acting and dancing.

Both packages include weekly sessions in Acting Through Song, LAMDA, Musical Theatre Jazz and Vocal Smash.

The Junior Musical Theatre Package costs £79 per month, compared with £128 if the classes were booked separately, saving £49 each month.

The Senior Musical Theatre Package costs £96 per month, compared with £140 for the individual classes, a monthly saving of £44.

Studio Director Laura Keeling said the new packages would provide another way for young people to access the school’s training.

“With our Junior and Senior Stage Academy classes currently full, we wanted to find another way for young people who love musical theatre to access the fantastic training opportunities we offer here at Rooftop Studios.

“Our teaching team brings a wealth of professional performance experience into the studio, and we’re passionate about passing that knowledge on to the next generation.”

The Stone school also offers workshops and masterclasses with professional performers. Earlier this year, former student and West End performer Laura Pyatt, who played Anne Boleyn in the UK and international tour of SIX, returned to deliver a masterclass attended by more than 40 students.

Laura added:

“These new packages bring together four complementary disciplines, helping students become more confident, versatile performers.”

Parents and carers interested in the new packages can find further information through the Rooftop Studios website, email info@rooftopstudios.co.uk or telephone 01785 761233.
