Members of Stone Rotary Club raised money for Children In Need this morning by asking motorists for money at traffic lights in Lichfield Street and Christ Church Way!

Special signs were up warning drivers to take extra care and Rotary Club members took donations from drivers’ windows in big Children In Need buckets.

The public in Stone are so generous every year when we make this collection – we are not sure yet of the total amount collected as Barclays count the cash for us and send it directly to Children in Need. We will let you know the total as soon as we know (hopefully early next week – 22nd or 23rd November)
