Rubbish – watch out for changes to bin days for long bank holiday weekend

Bin CollectionGood people of Stone, please be aware that due to the long bank holiday next week, for the Queen’s Jubilee, there may be changes to your household recycling and waste collection dates.

There will be revised collections across the entire borough for green, blue (including the blue bag) and brown bins due to the Platinum Jubilee with Thursday and Friday, 2nd and 3rd June, now bank holidays as the country prepares for a long weekend of celebrations to mark Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll’s, seventy years on the throne.

The changes will come in from Thursday 2 June and residents are being urged to check the rescheduled dates on their collection day calendars or at www.staffordbc.gov.uk/collectiondays.

As always, bins should be out by 7am on the revised days.
