Runners at the ready for Stone Festival Westbridge 5

Hundreds of runners took part in this year’s Stone Festival Westbridge 5 race on Sunday.

The five-mile race – starting from Westbridge Park, down to Aston and back again – is a really popular fast, flat course and attracts runners from far and wide. Organised by Stone Master Marathoners, the race raised money this year for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

The winner this year was Simon Myatt from Trentham RC, who was just ahead of South Cheshire Harrier’s Matthew Smith – you can see the full results HERE. And if you took part, you’re sure to see yourself in this great video from Stone’s Website Video Agency…
