Rural businesses in communities around Stone are being invited to a free event offering advice on funding, skills and growing their operations.
Staffordshire County Council and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce are holding a Rural Business Pop up Hub at Keele Hall on Tuesday 13 October.
The event is open both to existing businesses based in rural areas of Staffordshire and people living in rural communities who are considering starting their own business.
A number of organisations offering business support will be available between 10am and 12.30pm, giving visitors the opportunity to ask questions and find out what help may be available.
Those attending are due to include Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, Keele University, the Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Skills Hub, Staffordshire Business and Environment Network and Staffordshire Jobs and Careers.
The current event listing also includes Support Staffordshire and the Federation of Small Businesses, with networking opportunities and a light breakfast available.
Businesses will also be able to find out about Succeed & Grow, a fully funded programme providing support for rural microbusinesses.

“Staffordshire has a strong and diverse rural economy, and we want to help its businesses start, grow and create more local jobs.
“This free event brings a wide range of practical support together under one roof. Whether you already run a business or are considering starting one, I would encourage you to come along, speak directly to the experts and find out what help is available.”
The Rural Business Pop up Hub takes place at Keele Hall, Keele University, from 10am to 12.30pm on Tuesday 13 October.
Attendance is free, with places available to book through the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Eventbrite listing.
