Members of Transition Stone are holding their second Saturday Swap Shop in the town on Saturday 26th March.
The Swap Till You Drop event is being held at St Dominic’s Social Centre between 10am and 2pm, when you can take along unwanted items and exchange them for items you do want.
Apart from electrical items, underwear and earrings, everything can be taken along to swap – clothes and accessories; books, CDs and DVDs; fruit and vegetables from the allotment. The list is endless!
Entry is £2. You’ll be given a swap token for each item you take along, which will then enable you to ‘spend’ the token on another item. You will also be given a free token on entry and refreshments will also be available (the home-made cakes at the first Swap Shop were particularly tasty!!).
