Staffordshire Chamber Orchestra will open its new concert season with An Italian Evening at Trinity Church in Stafford on Saturday 28 November 2026.

The concert will begin at 7.30pm and will be conducted by the orchestra’s music director, Tommaso Nista, with a programme inspired by his home country of Italy.
The orchestra, which rehearses in Stone, will perform five works, including Rossini’s The Barber of Seville Overture and Respighi’s The Birds.
The programme also features Schubert’s Overture in the Italian Style, Martucci’s Notturno e Giga and Cherubini’s Lodoiska Overture.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, while students and children accompanied by an adult can attend free of charge.
Tickets will be available on the door, although anyone wishing to secure their place in advance is encouraged to email staffschamberorch@gmail.com.
The orchestra says it is currently experiencing problems with its online ticketing system.
The concert takes place at Trinity Church, Mount Street, Stafford, ST16 2BZ. The church is close to Stafford College, with parking available at the nearby Broad Street car park.
