Staffordshire Hoard exhibition in Stone

A special touring exhibition that tells the story of the discovery of the Staffordshire Hoard will be on display at Alleyne’s Academy in Stone in July.

‘Treasure! Discovering the Staffordshire Hoard’ is a family-friendly, community exhibition developed by Staffordshire County Council.

The exhibition has been funded by a grant of £47,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help take the story of the Hoard to audiences across Staffordshire and the West Midlands. The exhibition features high-quality replicas and reproductions, video, interactive displays, costumes and an opportunity for visitors to add their own thoughts and opinions to the Staffordshire Hoard story.
