Stone’s bonfire and fireworks display takes place on Saturday 2nd November 2013 at Westbridge Park.
Gates open at 6.30pm and there will be lots of fairground rides and food stalls. The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm, with the firework display (with a sci-fi theme this year) starting at 8pm.
Entry is £5 for adults and £3 for children. A family ticket (two adults and three children) costs £15.
Stone Town Charity Bonfire and Fireworks is organised entirely by representatives of local community groups and charities and the profits from the event are distributed amongst the local groups and charities.
Last year the following groups benefited from the event: Stone Outward Division Girl Guiding; Stone Army Cadet Force; 1st Stone Scout Group; Aston and Little Stoke Scout Group; St Michael’s First School PTA; Stone District Scout Council; North Staffs Basics Accident Doctors; 2nd Stone Scout Group; Stone Stroke Club; Katherine House Hospice; Stone Alzheimer’s Drop in Club; St Michael’s Church Bell Fund British Red Cross, and the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
