Stone Cemetery will hold an open day this Saturday, giving visitors the chance to learn more about its history, wildlife and some of the people buried there.

The free event takes place on Saturday 16 May 2026, from 10am to 2pm.

Friends of Stafford Cemeteries will be hosting the open day, which includes a guided tour of the cemetery’s woodland burial area and wetlands.

The group says visitors will also be able to find out more about the cemetery, including some of its interesting graves.

More information is available from the Friends of Stafford Cemeteries Facebook page. The group can also be contacted by email at friendsofstaffordcemeteries@gmail.com or by contacting bereavement services at bereavementservices@staffordbc.gov.uk.
