Stone were back to winning ways in the Staffordshire County Women’s League with a comprehensive victory against Whitchurch on Sunday.
Stone dominated for much of the game, playing some quality football around the opposition, which was great to see after two recent disappointing performances. The girls really put 100% into the 90 minutes. Manager Ash Thompson opted for a different formation which worked extremely well and with him rotating all players regularly, major problems for Whitchurch were caused throughout.
Two goals from Mollie Prime and Kerry McCourt, with Hayley Mason, Lauren Ward and Nat Price also netting. Player of the match was Nat Price.
