A Stone funeral director has been named a finalist in the 2026 Good Funeral Awards.
Anthony Hurst-Bromley, from Price & Stubbs Funeral Directors on Mill Street, has been shortlisted in the Funeral Director of the Year category. His place in the final has also been confirmed by the awards organisers.
Price & Stubbs announced the news on social media, thanking everyone who had nominated Anthony and supported him.
The company said it was delighted that he had reached the final, describing the nomination as recognition of his hard work, dedication and commitment.

The Good Funeral Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 24 October 2026 at Sindlesham Court in Berkshire, where the winners will be announced.
