Nominations are still open for the Neighbourhood Watch Network Community Police Awards 2026, sponsored by VISAV, the company behind the Neighbourhood Alert system.

The awards aim to recognise serving Neighbourhood Policing Team officers who have helped communities feel safer, more connected and better supported. Eligible nominees include Police Community Support Officers, Police Constables, Sergeants and Inspectors.

Residents can nominate an officer who has worked with Neighbourhood Watch, supported local events or community meetings, helped set up or strengthen a Neighbourhood Watch scheme, or worked with residents to tackle local issues.

People do not need to be part of Neighbourhood Watch to make a nomination.

The nomination form asks for details about the person making the nomination, the officer being nominated, their police force, and examples of how they have made a positive difference.

Nominations close on Sunday 5 July 2026.

Nominations can be made through the Community Police Awards page on the Neighbourhood Watch Network website. www.ourwatch.org.uk/policeawards
