The Artisan Boutique and Kitchen will close its doors in Stone on Saturday 11 July 2026, with owner Susan Hughes set to retire.

The business has been part of Stone’s independent scene for several years, and A Little Bit of Stone has followed Susan’s journey from the early days of The Artisan Boutique on Radford Street through to the move into the former Barclays Bank site on Stone High Street.
The business has said it will remain open for customers to visit during its final days.
In a message to customers, The Artisan Boutique and Kitchen said
“As most of you know now sadly The Artisan Boutique and Kitchen is closing its doors on 11th July 2026……… but WE ARE STILL HERE FOR YOU TO ENJOY FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS
“If you love our tasty breakfasts, lunches and cakes, not to mention our amazing coffee and of course our cheesecake Fridays please come in to help us go out with a bang.
“We would love to see old and new customers alike over the next 2 weeks to say a cheery farewell as its been a delight spending time with you all over the last few years”

Susan has built the business across retail, crafts, workshops and food, with the High Street move marking a major step in The Artisan Boutique’s growth.
