Unlock your inner artist at a new weekly miniature painting workshop at The Card Tavern

Simon Rowley - Minature PaintingSimon Rowley is taking Stone’s art and gaming scene by storm. His new weekly miniature painting workshops at The Card Tavern are not just a creative outlet but a place for community and learning. Whether you’re a seasoned wargamer or a curious beginner, there’s something for everyone.

From 3D Design to Miniature Masterpieces

A year ago, Simon Rowley embarked on a journey to combine his passion for 3D design, 3D printing, and miniature painting into a single enterprise. Fast forward to today, he’s not just running a successful business but also contributing to the local community with his new weekly workshops. The sessions occur every Saturday at The Card Tavern, a well-known venue for its friendly atmosphere and extensive range of board games.

What’s on Offer?

The workshops run from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm and are priced at a reasonable £8 per person. But here’s the kicker: the fee includes a free miniature and expert tuition in miniature painting. Simon explains, “You can either bring your own supplies or use the ones we provide. There are also drinks and snacks at the shop. Just turn up and stay as long as you like; it’s a good laugh with a lot of combined knowledge of wargaming and DnD.”

A Workshop for All Ages

One of the best aspects of these sessions is their inclusivity. All ages are welcome, making it a perfect weekend activity for families, friends, and even solo adventurers looking to pick up a new skill or hobby. It’s not just about painting; it’s about community, shared knowledge, and a lot of laughter.
