Livio AI interfaces with smartphone app Thrive Hearing, which tracks a wearer’s body and brain health, including monitoring heart rate, physical activity and even detecting when a user has fallen. It also offers the capabilities of a regular hearing aid, reducing noisy environments by 50%, which significantly reduces listening effort and enhances speech clarity, while artificial intelligence optimises the hearing experience.

Starkey Hearing Technologies Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Achin Bhowmik, said: “Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the world around us.

“This technology optimises users’ hearing experiences and enables them to continuously monitor and improve their overall health.”

This cutting-edge technology allows people to take a proactive and personal approach to treating hearing loss, which has been linked to dementia, cognitive decline and social isolation. For more information, contact Peter Bowers Optometrist, 63A High Street, Stone, ST15 8AD  01785 815937
