Young people from Stone have been invited to an awareness event at Westbridge Park on Friday 4th March.
Aimed at providing advice and guidance, the event will be supported by the Youth Bus. A number of partners will be available from 6.30pm until 10pm to talk to local youngsters about any issues or concerns they may have.
The event’s totally free and there’ll be a range of advice available, from sexual health issues and teenage pregnancy to alcohol and drugs support and details of how to become a special constable.
PC Kate Scott from Stone Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) said: “This will be a great opportunity for officers and partners to meet with local young people and chat about anything that concerns or worries them. We’d welcome as many local youngsters to come along as possible.”
