Safe stolen in St Michael’s school break-in

The office safe was stolen in a break-in at St Michael’s First School in Stone on Thursday evening (14th November).

Police were called just after 8.30pm on Thursday 14th November (Christmas lights switch-on night).

The offender(s) got into the school by forcing a panel on a fire escape door. They headed for the office and managed to get away with the safe, which contained cheques for school trips and items bought from the school book fair. Parents have been advised by the school to cancel these cheques as a precaution.
