Stone’s Ben Gamble won the Westbridge 5 race on Sunday (1st June), the first event of this year’s Stone Festival.
Ben – who won the Potteries half-marathon in 2013, as well as last year’s Westbridge 5 – recorded a time of 26:21. Michelle Buckle was the first female finisher in 32:52.

The race – which was organised by Ben and wife Amy – raised £2258 for the neonatal unit at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
