Stone Master Marathoners are encouraging locals to pull on their trainers and join their 12 week beginners running course.
The 12 week course starts on 15th September and costs a reasonable £10, squarely aimed at people who would like to run but would like support from a local running club to start off in a fun and friendly way.
Prospective runners can register their interest by emailing secretary@stonemm.co.uk and despite the groups name they welcome anyone who want’s to run any distance.

The club have run similar groups in the past which have always been well received. You can often see the bat colony running around Stone, easily identifiable by their red and black running vests.
