Stone groups invited to apply for town council grants

Local organisations in Stone are being invited to apply for the latest round of grants from Stone Town Council.

Council Meeting Vote

The council has a sum of money available each year for local organisations to bid for, usually through two rounds of funding in February and July. The next round will be considered by the council’s General Purposes Committee at its meeting on Tuesday 7 July 2026.

You can find more details on the process, and the application forms, on the Stone Town Council Website – https://www.stonetowncouncil.gov.uk/grants/

Groups who want to be considered at that meeting need to submit a fully completed application by Wednesday 17 June 2026. Applications must be received at the council offices at 15 Station Road, Stone, ST15 8JP by that date.

Completed forms can also be emailed to clerk@stonetowncouncil.gov.uk in Microsoft Word or PDF format. The council says application forms are available to download from its website, with copies also available on request.

Anyone needing further help, information, or a hard copy of the form can contact Stone Town Council on 01785 619740 or email clerk@stonetowncouncil.gov.uk.

The grants are aimed at local organisations, giving community groups and projects in Stone a chance to seek support for their work.
