Aston by Stone Village Hall opens refurbished courtyard

Aston by Stone Village Hall has officially opened its refurbished courtyard following work to improve the outdoor space for visitors and community groups.

Aston Hall Opening Ceromony
Trustees Jennifer Woodyard, Emma Snowden, Sue Brereton Banks and Jenny Johnston celebrate the courtyard’s completion.

The opening took place on Thursday 30 July, with committee members, charity trustees, volunteers and supporters gathering to mark the completion of the work.

The courtyard now features a new soft surface, additional seating, security fencing and raised flower beds. The improvements are intended to provide a safer and more attractive space for people attending activities, events and gatherings at the hall.

Part of the project was supported by a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund.

The hall’s committee has thanked the trustees and volunteers whose work helps to maintain the venue and keep it available for the local community.

Aston by Stone Village Hall can be hired for private functions, community activities and social events. Booking information is available through the hall’s online booking page.
