Aston by Stone Village Hall is inviting residents to its next Annual General Meeting, with a call out for new volunteers to help keep the building running.
The meeting is set for 3 pm on Sunday 26 April 2026 at the Village Hall.
AGM open to residents
The Trustees say the AGM is a chance for people to step inside, take a look at the facilities and find out what is involved in running the Hall day to day.
The Hall hosts a mix of activities, celebrations and local events across the year, and the Trustees say volunteers are vital to keeping it thriving.
Ways to get involved
They are encouraging new volunteers to come forward, either as committee members or in more flexible roles that can fit around work and family life.
Help could include:
- Joining the management committee
- Opening and closing the Hall for occasional weekend hirers
- Gardening or general maintenance
- Supporting small improvement projects
- Offering other skills or practical help
The Trustees say there is no minimum commitment required, and even a few hours now and then can make a difference.
