Newcastle Road in Stone was closed in both directions this afternoon (20th March) as firefighters dealt with a car fire.
The closure caused delays on the A34, which was already seeing a lot more traffic following the closure of the northbound M6 between Junctions 15 and 16.
We’ll update this post when we have more information about the incident on Newcastle Road.
