Congratulations to John and Anne Shuttleworth from Stone, who have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
The couple live at Summer Field Court off Lichfield Road after John’s retirement a few years ago. For the last 18 months they have been helping to run the “Faith Matters” group that meets on a Monday morning there (under the aegis of St Michael & St Wulfad’s Church), with a selection of activities, study, prayer and worship.
They recently celebrated their Golden Wedding and the residents were invited to join in a service of Holy Communion with a Blessing of their Marriage. A magnificent cake and coffee was enjoyed by all!
