Organisers have revealed a first glimpse of what visitors can expect when the brand-new Oktoberfest Stone arrives at Westbridge Park on Saturday 3 October.
The newly released site plan shows how the park will be transformed for an afternoon and evening of live music, street food, licensed bars and Oktoberfest entertainment from 2pm until 10pm.
Music will be at the heart of the event, with a line-up combining traditional Bavarian entertainment and popular party favourites.
The Bavarian Strollers Oompah Band will bring an authentic Oktoberfest flavour, while Tony Lewis as Robbie Williams and the Shane Nolan Band will keep the party going with crowd-pleasing hits. DJ Brett and saxophonist Ben Keating will also team up for live DJ and sax sets during the day.
Away from the stage, visitors can enjoy a selection of street food alongside bars serving beers, wine, fizz, cocktails and more.
Organiser Ed Stant said: “The response to Oktoberfest Stone has been fantastic and tickets are selling really well. It’s a completely new event for us, so it’s been brilliant to see people getting behind it and getting excited about what we’re bringing to Westbridge Park.
“We also owe a huge thank you to the local businesses who have lent their support and helped us make this first Oktoberfest Stone happen.”
