Winter health walks under way

People in Stone who want to take some gentle exercise as the first step to a healthier lifestyle are being invited to join free health walks in the town.

Stone Health Walks take place every Tuesday in January, February and March. Walkers should meet at the canoe club headquarters on Westbridge Park at 10.50am and there’s a choice of two walks – a short walk and a longer one!

The walks – part of the Stafford Borough Walking for Health initiative – last around 30 minutes and are led by trained volunteer walk leaders.
