Historic aerial photographs dating back to the 1920s will be used to explore how Stone and the wider Staffordshire landscape have changed during a guest talk next month.
Shaun Farrelly will present Staffordshire From Above at Stone Heritage Centre on Saturday 10 October, from 2pm to 4pm.
The talk will feature aerial images of Stone and locations across Staffordshire, comparing places which have undergone substantial change with others that remain more recognisable today.
The event description also looks back at the work of Aerofilms, a company which sent pilots and photographers across the British Isles from the 1920s onwards to record towns, cities, countryside and industrial sites from the air.
Farrelly previously gave a talk under the same title at Stone Library as part of its autumn history programme in 2024.
