Mayor’s charity Easter Egg Trail to run alongside Stone Farmers’ Market this Saturday

A charity Easter Egg Trail is set to take place in Stone town centre this Saturday, alongside the monthly Farmers’ Market.

The special event is being hosted by Stone’s Mayor and will run in and around the High Street on Saturday 4 April 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Trail will run through the town centre

Families heading into Stone for the Farmers’ Market will also be able to take part in the Easter trail, with entry sheets available to buy from the Mayor’s marquee on the day.

The trail will be based around the High Street, giving people a reason to wander between the market and the town centre while taking part.

Entry costs £2 per sheet, with cash only being accepted.

Organisers say all proceeds will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities, and there will also be the chance for people taking part to win Easter prizes.

That means it is not just a family activity for the morning or early afternoon, it is also a fundraiser tied in with one of Stone’s busier town centre days.

A busy Saturday in Stone

With the Farmers’ Market already bringing extra footfall into the centre of town, the Easter trail looks likely to add another reason for families to spend time on the High Street.

The Mayor’s marquee will be the place to start, with entry sheets on sale there during the event.

Anyone planning to join in is worth remembering that payments will be cash only.

The event poster says the trail is aimed at helping support local causes, while also giving people the chance to enjoy a bit of Easter fun around the town.

For families already calling in at the market, it could make for an easy extra stop while they are in Stone.
