There was quite an altercation on The Three Crowns’ car park on Saturday afternoon!
The sound of clashing steel and the braying of horses could be heard as St George and his squires faced up to their foes on St George’s Day. The patriotic event drew the crowds to the pub in Lichfield Road, with free face painting, a children’s fancy dress competition and a special St George’s Day menu.
