Did you see the loose sheep in Stone this morning?!
Richard Evans said on Twitter that sheep were blocking traffic at the junction of Kings Avenue and Longton Road and took the great pictures above and below of two of them on the car park off Northesk Street. He said on Twitter: “The only happy ending for me would involve mint sauce!”
Police were called this morning but when they arrived the sheep had been rounded up and were being kept at St Dominic’s Priory School. I’ve no idea where the sheep came from! Get in touch if you know – email news@alittlebitofstone.com
Paul Eardley said on the Little Bit of Stone Facebook page: “Perhaps they fancied an early morning tipple? The Royal Exchange was obviously closed so they’re probably heading for The Lamb Inn!”
