Stone firm supplies digital displays for shops, offices and public spaces

From bright screens in shop windows to electronic meeting room signs, digital displays have become a familiar sight in everyday life. And one Stone business is helping organisations across the UK and overseas put that technology to use.

Assured Digital Signage

Assured Digital Signage, based at Douglas Park on Stone Business Park, supplies digital display equipment and supporting software to businesses and organisations in a range of sectors.

The company is part of the wider Assured Group, which says it serves more than 1,500 clients across 80 countries.

From shop windows to meeting rooms

For retailers, one of the company’s products is high-brightness window displays, designed to remain visible even in direct sunlight.

These screens can show changing offers, product information and advertising without the need to print new posters each time.

The same technology is used in cafés, pubs and restaurants, where digital menu boards allow businesses to change prices, promotions and other information.

But not every digital display is designed to advertise something.

Assured Digital Signage also supplies electronic meeting room booking screens using E-ink technology, similar to that found in electronic reading devices.

These low-power screens can display whether a meeting room is available and, depending on the system, allow staff to make a booking directly. Some operate on batteries, avoiding the need for additional wiring.

Supporting projects beyond Stone

The company’s wider range includes touchscreen kiosks, outdoor displays and large video walls.

Alongside the equipment, Assured Digital Signage provides advice on choosing suitable hardware and software, installation services and ongoing technical support.

One example of its work is a project for Shropshire Council, where the company supplied replacement display equipment for the Old Market Hall and Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury.

According to the company, the project replaced ageing screens and individual computers with a system allowing content to be managed across multiple displays.

Christopher Rushton, managing director of Assured Digital Signage, said

“Every customer has different requirements, whether that’s a shop looking to attract attention with a window display or a business wanting to manage meeting rooms more effectively. We take the time to understand what they want to achieve and recommend the right solution for their space.

“We’re proud to be based in Stone and to work with businesses both locally and further afield. It’s rewarding to see how the technology we supply can be used in so many different settings.”

The business also offers custom development, system integration and content design for customers needing more specialised solutions.

Assured Digital Signage is based at Unit A5, Douglas Park, Stone Business Park. Further information about its products and services is available through the Assured Digital Signage website.
