Stone High Street Classic Cars Event – 13th October

Stone Classic Car SaturdayStone High Street will play host to a large collection of over 40 Classic Cars on Saturday October 13th.

Stone Town Council have arranged a classic car event which will take over the High Street and Market Square between 10:30am and 2:00pm.

Local Resident Peter Cresswell of Stone Classic Car Group has co-ordinated his friends and colleagues bringing their Classic Cars to Stone for the first time and there is sure to be a car to provoke excitement even for the oldest memory.

The idea to have Classic Cars in the High Street came from David Barrett of Regent Travel and David says it promises to be an exciting day for enthusiasts both young and old.

Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said

“The Town Council is pleased to be able to bring the first Classic Car event to Stone High Street.

With a wide range of vehicles dating from the 1930s to the 1980s there is sure to be something for everyone. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Peter and David to bring this event to fruition.”
