Stone Town Council’s summer brass band concert returns to Stonefield Park on Sunday 16 August, with a Burma Star and VJ Day commemoration also forming part of the afternoon.

Florence Brass Band will perform throughout the event, which runs from 2pm to 4pm in the park.
As part of the afternoon, wreaths will be laid in commemoration of the Burma Star and VJ Day, honouring those who served and sacrificed.
The commemoration is being supported by the Royal British Legion, while Stone Town Council is organising the concert.
Afternoon tea and light refreshments will be served, and those attending are encouraged to bring a chair or picnic blanket.
The event is free to attend.
