A top West End star will be giving youngsters in Stone some top performing tips at special Wicked workshops on Saturday 19th February.
Ashleigh Grey, whose numerous musical roles have included a spell in ‘Wicked’ at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, when she played Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West, will lead the workshops at Stone’s Rooftop Studios.
Ashleigh will lead two 90-minute workshops – 12.30pm to 2pm, and 2pm to 3.30pm. In addition to being open to Pop School and Stage Academy students, the workshop is being opened to a limited number of children from outside the school on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Rooftop Studios principal Elaine Bird said: “We’re delighted that Ashleigh is going to be visiting us and helping pass on her invaluable knowledge and experience to our students, and would like to open this exceptional opportunity to other local budding performers who would like to hone their skills in dance, drama and singing.”
The workshops are open to youngsters between eight and 18 and will take place on Saturday 19th February. Spaces, at £5 per child, are limited and will be allocated strictly by prior booking. Register now to secure your place and for further information by calling Elaine on 01785 761233.
