Ocean conservation in spotlight at Trust meeting

The Stone branch of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust hold their annual general meeting on Friday evening (25th January) followed by a talk on an important ocean conservation project.

The AGM and talk by Ruth Green on the Wildlife Trusts’ Living Seas project is at 7.30pm at the Frank Jordan Centre in Lichfield Street. Entrance is free and there will be refreshments. Call 01782 557800 for more details.

Twelve Wildlife Trusts located across the east coast of England aim to make the concept of Living Seas a reality though a project which will promote protection of the North Sea’s weird and wonderful marine wildlife, from the smallest plankton to the largest whales.
