1st Walton Rainbows have fun making Mother’s Day flower posies

girlguiding mothers dayThe 1st Walton Rainbows and their mums enjoyed a morning of creating beautiful flower posies in readiness for this year’s Mother’s Day

The morning was led by the Diana Scott M.B.E, a lifelong member of Stone Girlguiding and well known for her excellent and entertaining flower demonstrations.

Guider in charge, Jane West commented:

”It was so lovely to see the Rainbows working alongside their mums and having such fun!”

The morning ended with coffee, delicious doughnuts and a rousing rendition of Alice the Camel (with all the mums joining in). A tombola and donations raised £35 for the girls chosen charity, Riding for the Disabled.
