A local Girlguiding group in Aston is encouraging new members to come along and see what it is all about.

1st Aston & Little Stoke Guides meet each week at Aston Village Hall and are inviting girls aged 10 to 14 to join them for an evening of activities, friendships and new experiences.
A place to try new things
Guides is part of the wider Girlguiding movement, giving girls the chance to build confidence, learn new skills and spend time with friends in a supportive setting.
Weekly meetings include a mix of activities. One week might involve creative projects or games, while another could focus on teamwork challenges or outdoor adventures.
For many girls, it is also their first opportunity to try activities such as camping trips, sports, or community projects alongside others their age.
Organisers say the aim is simple. Create a place where girls can laugh together, learn new things and feel comfortable being themselves.
