Singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, magicians and performers of all ages are being invited to take part in the first Barlaston’s Got Talent.

The community talent show will take place at Barlaston Village Hall on Friday 30 October, with organisers now looking for around 10 to 12 acts to perform in front of an audience and guest judging panel.

Entries are open to solo performers, duos and groups, with each selected act given up to five minutes to perform. Organisers say they are open to all types of talent, rather than limiting entries to traditional stage performances.

The judging panel is set to include professional cruise ship musicians and other special guests, with prizes also on offer.

Anyone interested in taking part needs to submit an entry by Sunday 18 October. Selected acts are due to be contacted by Tuesday 20 October.

Entries can be made using the form at: Barlaston’s Got Talent entry form

The event is open to all ages, with more details about the evening expected to be announced closer to the date.
