Drivers in Stone have been warned that Fairway Service Station has temporarily run out of fuel after scheduled deliveries failed to arrive.

The petrol station shared the update with customers on Facebook on Wednesday evening, saying it was currently out of all grades of fuel.
Delivery cancelled overnight
In the post, the Lichfield Road petrol station explained that a delivery expected that evening had been cancelled.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances we are currently out of all grades of fuel, we were due a delivery this evening which has been cancelled due to current market forces and supply issues.
“We are expecting a delivery tomorrow morning (Thursday) hopefully around 7am, we apologise for any inconvenience caused to all our customers.
“Over the next few weeks we will try to keep you updated on any potential supply issues.”
Second delivery also cancelled
On Thursday morning, the station issued a further update confirming that the expected morning delivery had also been cancelled.
“We have been advised that our delivery which was due at 7am this morning has also been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we now await a revised ETA.
“We will keep you updated.”
The station says it is now waiting for a revised delivery time.
For now, motorists planning to fill up there may need to use other petrol stations in the area until a new delivery arrives.
