LCT Homewares is set to relocate from Whitebridge to Stone High Street this autumn, taking over the former Artisan Boutique and Kitchen premises.

The independent furniture and homewares business plans to move into the former Barclays Bank building, with an opening currently planned for October.
An exact opening date has yet to be announced.
LCT Homewares is run by Stone resident Lindsey Curtis and opened its first shop on Whitebridge Industrial Estate in September 2024, after initially operating from Lindsey’s home and online.
The business has continued to grow from the Whitebridge shop, selling furniture, home accessories, gifts and regularly changing stock.
LCT has told A Little Bit of Stone that the business itself will remain largely the same following the move, although the larger High Street presence will give it opportunities to introduce more at the new premises.
For now, it is business as usual at the current LCT Homewares shop at 2 Whitebridge Lane, with further details about the relocation and opening to be announced over the coming weeks.
The High Street unit became vacant this summer when The Artisan Boutique and Kitchen closed on Saturday 11 July as owner Susan Hughes retired.
Before The Artisan moved in, the building was home to Barclays Bank. The bank closed its Stone branch in July 2021, with Susan taking on the premises later that year ahead of The Artisan’s move from Radford Street.
The arrival of LCT will therefore see the prominent High Street premises occupied again just a few months after The Artisan’s closure.
A Little Bit of Stone will share LCT Homewares’ confirmed opening date when further details are announced.
