Stone High Street will host a free afternoon of live music and entertainment when the Summer Street Party returns on Saturday 15 August.
The Stone Town Council event will begin at 12.30pm, with three acts performing during the afternoon and Warwick’s funfair based in the Market Square and lower High Street.
Music throughout the afternoon
A K Pop Demon Hunters tribute is scheduled to take to the stage at 12.45pm.
Contemporary covers band The Cartoon Kings will follow at 2.10pm, before Beatles tribute act Imagine… The Beatles headlines the afternoon from around 3.50pm.
Kath Stanway will compere the event and provide entertainment between the main performances.
The street party is expected to wrap up around 5pm.
Chairs and picnics welcome
Visitors are encouraged to arrive around midday to find a suitable spot and can bring their own chairs and picnics.
Food and refreshments will also be available from cafes, pubs and restaurants along the High Street, as well as vendors selling hot food, ice cream and cakes.
Warwick’s funfair will operate in the Market Square and lower section of the High Street during the event.
Councillor Jill Hood, chairman of Stone Town Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub Committee, said

The Summer Street Party is free to attend and open to everyone.
