Police invite residents to chat over a coffee in Stone

Residents will have another opportunity to meet local police officers over a coffee when the latest Cuppa with a Copper session comes to Stone this month.

Bear Stone High Street

The informal drop in event will take place at BEAR Coffee on Stone High Street, giving people the chance to speak directly with officers from the Stone Local Policing Team about issues affecting the local area.

A chance to raise local concerns

The event is being held on Friday 10 July 2026 between 11am and 1pm.

Whether residents have concerns about anti social behaviour, road safety, neighbourhood policing or simply want to get to know the officers working in Stone, everyone is welcome to call in for a chat.

The sessions are designed to make it easier for people to speak with local officers in an informal setting, without needing to make an appointment or visit a police station.

Continuing a series of community events

The Stone Local Policing Team has held a number of similar events across the town over recent months, with previous Cuppa with a Copper sessions taking place in cafés including Costa, Starbucks, M&S Café and Bod Coffee.

By moving between different venues, officers hope to make the sessions accessible to as many residents as possible while encouraging conversations about the issues that matter most to local communities.
