Special town council meeting on youth centre

Stone youth centre

A special meeting of Stone Town Council’s general purposes committee has been called to discuss Stone youth centre.

The meeting will be held on Thursday 13th November from 7pm and – as with all town council meetings – members of the public can attend as observers. If you want to go along, the entrance is at the rear of the town council building opposite Wetherspoons in Station Road. Go through the door and up the stairs for the council chamber.

The town council may be putting in a bid to run the youth centre when it is closed by the county council at the end of this year. More on this story from last week HERE.

Also on the agenda is a report on Stone creating and submitting a Neighbourhood Plan, a local planning document that sits beneath the borough-wide Local Plan.
