Stone by the Seaside returns this week

With the school summer holidays in full swing, Stone Town Council have organised a second Stone by the Seaside event in the town centre.

Warwick’s Funfair will bring the seaside to Stone from Wednesday 7th August through to Sunday, 11th August

The event will be open daily from 11 am to 5pm with a range of seaside activities for everyone to enjoy.

Chairman of Stone Town Promotion and Tourism councillor Jill Hood said

“It will be a great event to bring the children to, there will be a huge sandpit with buckets and spades in the Market square and weather permitting ( if it isn’t too hot) the donkeys will be returning too! 

There will be a number of kiddie’s rides and during low tide there will be a limited amount of buckets and spades in the sand so perhaps a good idea to bring your own and adults bring a seat if you want to sit in comfort and watch the children.”
